Maida Vale was a residential project in London. We used European oak to create a contemporary floor with a traditional intent. The large format herringbone blocks had an aged surface and were finished with a grey tone over a natural brown oak to produce a stunning floor to compliment a beautiful house and interior. The grilles that covered the trench heaters were formed in the pattern of the herringbone and the treads and risers were formed on site to give the buildings floor pallet continuity throughout.
