At the Whisky Bar in Bishopsgate Plaza we were asked to provide blackened mild steel elements to the banquette seating and window elevation, incorporating lighting details and air conditioning grills. Using our fabrication skills we folded, cut and shaped cold rolled mild steel. We then degreased and patinated the finish with aging fluids and wax. In addition we used our in house artisans to supply and apply specialist clay finishes to the walls, which was enhanced and blended with the blackened metal.
